Echoes of Us

a 2nd year painting exhibition

Echoes of Us is a group exhibition of paintings produced by the second year Fine Arts students that echo our memories, our past, present, desires, imaginations and what speaks to US as a group. The word “echo” highlighting our need to reflect, to mirror, and to find out what is deep within US and our experiences.

Through these paintings, we invite the audience to consider their own histories, their family histories, and their narratives. Investigating the boundaries between abstraction, reality, fantasy, as well as appreciating the intricacy and beauty that appears from the intersection of identity, history, and love.
